Northern Minnesota deer hunt 2009

This year I went up to northern Minnesota to hunt whitetail deer again.  The group this time included; myself (Tim), my oldest son (Ryan), my Dad (Don), John, Barry and his son Mike.   We stayed in my Dad’s cabin that is near Lake Kabetogama.

Fishing has slowed way down on the river this past week   
I went to the river Saturday morning with Barry and John.  We fished for 4 1/2 hours and all we caught were 2 nice saugers and a sheephead.

Zach’s Graduation

Last weekend was Zach’s High School Graduation.   We had an open house for him Friday night and it was very fun.  We were lucky and had beautiful weather here for us Friday and all last weekend.

Zach’s Senior Prom

This year DeeDee and I took a second trip to Playa del Carmen Mexico.  This was a trip for our son Zach, as he is a senior in high school.  On this trip are Zach and his friends; Drew and Nate, and Nate’s parents, Charlie and Brenda.

Last week our lovely son Zach brought home a new chocolate lab puppy.  I can’t say I’m real excited about it.  I like dogs and all.  It’s just that we have kind of gotten use to not having to worry about a dog since our Golden retriever passed a couple years ago.

The weather here is pretty bad.  It snowed about 6 inches yesterday and then another 6 today.   The temperature is dropping and it’s not even suppose to get to zero degrees tomorrow.  The wind is really blowing they are saying 20 to 40 mph winds.
